Combining DiPaulo’s experience and unique visions with a team of talented artisans, Stone Mason has completed more than 800 projects in its 29 years of pool-building and landscaping in both residential and commercial venues. With great anticipation, its dedicated team looks forward to each and every new project.

Stone Mason specializes in innovative concepts and futuristic elements paired with the strength of Old World building practices. Its projects often include natural rock pools, spas, waterfalls, and gardens, while also incorporating fire features, stone arbors, outdoor kitchens, custom seating, grottos, and other accents. The company has its own two-acre nursery and 800-ton rock gallery, providing an extensive inventory of materials for each custom project.

Stone Mason strives to capture the beauty of nature’s remarkable creations through its poolscapes and outdoor living spaces. It considers all aspects of a setting when formulating its designs, including the water’s reflection of sunlight and shapes formed by natural surroundings.

The company believes in having a close-knit relationship with its customers. That’s why its team does not include any salesmen and deals with very few subcontractors. DiPaulo designs along with clients and follows through to the final detail of each turned-key work of art. DiPaulo personally supervises all projects.

Descending from a long line of skilled Italian masons, DiPaulo refurbished historic buildings before his connection to the environment led him to design gardens and pools. “Our main focus is marrying manmade building features with nature and natural outcroppings,” DiPaulo says. “I look to create magic in every project, and have fun doing it.”

One of Stone Mason’s projects has been featured on HGTV’s “What’s With That House?” This project was also voted the Best Backyard by The Houston Press.
