Kelly Caviness started Caviness Landscape Design, Inc., over 28 years ago as an outlet for his unique gift to create one-of-a-kind outdoor environments. About 11 years later, he began adding pools to his designs, which elevated him and his company to the upper echelon of the outdoor industry.

From concrete swimming pools, grottos, and natural settings to dramatic water features and colorful lightscaping, Caviness Landscape Design designs and constructs comprehensive packages for residential clients. Caviness gathers as much information as possible from clients and creates a design that is unique and interactive in the pool and outdoor environment.

Caviness, president/CEO, explains, “We believe every project should not only be pleasing to the eye but that it should also function well with the clients as well as their family and friends. Each design and installation is deserving of the personal attention that only years of real-life experience can offer.” Caviness continues, “Most of our staff have been with us for many seasons and know how to handle all types of challenges and requests. They are willing to step out of the box and really take pride in what they do. The final result is a reflection of the homeowner’s personality and style expertly done by our fantastic team.”

Caviness’ approach to designing and building exotic luxury outdoor spaces has translated into a number of honors from its peers. The builder has won many awards for its distinctive concepts from the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals (APSP) and other organizations. Caviness’ work has also been included in the portfolio gallery of Phillips International/Color Kinetics, Inc., and is featured in various national and international publications, including The Affluent Page (July 2010).
